The Rise of Shared-Use Design

What if products created more value after each use, not less?

Shared-use models are now emerging as a practical lever for optimising resource use.

The logic is simple: products designed to last, be repaired, or to be used across multiple life cycles (and users) to unlock its potential of utility.

When assets become modular, maintainable, and rentable, the business model changes too.

– Every repair extends the margin as you have avoided a purchase

– Every reuse cycle strengthens customer ties and established a legacy and a story that continues.

When design for shared and reuse becomes the norm, waste becomes a design variable, not an inevitability or a constraint that you unwillingly accept.

Where do you see the biggest opportunity for shared use in your industry?
